24-hour
crisis
hotline and provide emotional support
those
who feel depressed or in crisis and
need someone to talk to. The Samaritans
hotline
responds to people of all ages and all
backgrounds, including teenagers and
the elderly, people suffering from illnesses
like cancer or AIDS, victims of violence
or sexual abuse, the homeless, unemployed
and people just like you and me who
suddenly find themselves facing some
overwhelming obstacle or personal tragedy
and need help getting through their
moment of crisis.
